Jagadguru Sri Kripaluji Maharaj further elucidated these concepts that Sri Krishna introduced in the Gita and he called it Roopdhyan. ‘Roop’ means ‘the form’ because if you're going to think of someone, then you'll think of their form.
Notice Krishna didn't say, “Think of My formless aspect.” Later in the twelfth chapter of the Gita, Arjun actually asked Him, “Should I think of You as formless or in Your personal form? He said, “Arjun, it's very difficult to think of My formless aspect. Think of Me in My personal form.” Thus, Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj gave this meditation the name Roopdhyan.
If you're thinking of Krishna in His personal form, it means you'll think of His actual form, “What does He look like? How are His eyes, His hair, His face? What is He wearing? How does He move?” This is all Roopdhyan, and this is how we engross our mind in meditation according to how Shri Krishna told us in the Gita.
